Gabriela Markova

Gabriela Markova is an executive with over 18 years of experience in hotel industry. Growing up in turns in Czech Republic, Paraguay and Switzerland, she had all supposition to end up in the travel & tourism industry. Starting as sales manager in a niche 4-star hotel chain and relocating every year between key European capitals, as the chain grew its portfolio in Paris, Munich, London, Vienna and Budapest. Gabriela entered the world of luxury hotellerie by joining Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2006. After nearly a decade of working for these renown hotels and climbing the sales ladder from reservation agent to DOSM, she took on the role of DOSM at Velaa Private Island in the Maldives, one of top 10 private islands in the world, and enhanced her reach from high-end and upscale clientele to the ultimate UHNWI level. Gabriela is fluent in Czech, English, Spanish and German and speaks on advance level French and Portuguese.

Gabriela is also founder of Luxury Bloc; a tradeshow focused on connecting best high-end travel agents from Central & Eastern Europe with global upper upscale products.

Gabriela has also been engaged as Ambassador for XO Private, having a close business relationship with this organization and World Wide Events ( Private Luxury Forums, Amour Forums, TFest).

Caroline Mergen grew up in a very international environment in Luxembourg. She is fluent in German, French and English.

Always passionate by travelling and the luxury travel industry, she decided to dedicate her studies to this domain. In the early stages of her professional career, she started at Kempinski Egypt, where she gained important experiences and knowledge about the world of luxury hotel industry. 
Being highly ambitious, Caroline proceeded within the flagship of Kempinski and worked as sales executive in the famous Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich. At this stage, she discovered her passion for sales and consulting and implemented her precise, dedicated and highly-efficient work ethic, with the main focus on customer satisfaction.
Until now, her experiences and continuing education led her to become a strong communicator, a real go-to-person as well as a powerful organizer. 

Ultimately, as a sales manager for the DACH Market, Caroline’s dream of her career came true and she is keen to provide her best services to all costumers.

Adriana Ladocha

Regional Director of Sales, Central & Eastern Europe
Adriana Ladocha has almost 20 yeas of experience in the luxury tourism segment. She started her career in the cruise industry, spending years working for Cunard Cruiseline on Queen Elisabeth. Soon Adri saw her potential on the other side and became a co-created of Sonriso Travel, a luxury boutique agency in Poland. From the very beginning she has been involved in business development of the brand and product portfolio, as well as in creating and setting service standards for premium customers.

Adriana visited over 60 countries in the world which gave her amazing insights into different cultures and helped her to immerse in authentic and local experiences on all continents (except Antarctica which is coming soon), contributing to her compassion for travel.

Adriana is fluent in Polish and English and is looking over selected countries within the CEE region as well as playing a crucial role in Luxury Bloc development.

Petr Marek

Petr Marek

Petr Marek is a hotelier by heart and soul. His early steps started in F&B as manager of a renown traditional Czech restaurant in Prague before relocating to the USA to gain experience in hotel operations in Florida and NYC. After few years in the US his next steps led to Austria where he worked for the renowned Bristol hotel before stepping into the Sales & Marketing world back in Prague first with Hilton, then opening the unique Aria hotel as DOSM.

Petr entered the luxury hotelier by joining Mandarin Oriental in Prague as opening DOSM and later on as Hotel Manager, enhancing his scope of work from S&M to entire operations and finance. Furthermore, Petr has led the Le Palais Hotel Prague, a Leading and Virtuoso property, as General Manager for three years before taking on the role of Resort Manager at Velaa Private Island in the Maldives, one of the most luxurious private islands in the world. Petr speaks fluently Czech, English and Russian.

Lenka Tuckova Rogerova, PR & Communications. The prerequisite for successful representation of the client is undoubtedly the client’s own experience. Lenka has more than 17 years of experience both on the client’s side and from an international PR agency. During her career, she had the opportunity to help key players (including Mandarin Oriental, The Oaks) in the Czech & Slovak market with major communication projects – from rebranding, through the launch of new products and services, crisis communication and designing strategies for social media.

Lenka has the experience, creativity, sense of detail and, in addition, has the perseverance to achieve real results for the client in no time. She understands the media market in depth, maintains above-standard relationships with journalists and has personal relationships and contacts in the luxury segment.
