Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island is set to create a new benchmark for luxury in the Indian Ocean and lies just over 130 kilometres south of Mahé, in a pristine atoll fringed by palm forests and migratory seabirds and turtles protected by its own lagoon and coral reef.

Creole-inspired tapas, oysters and Champagne overlooking the sunset, and Afro-Latin fusion concepts promise an exquisite culinary experience from the mind of Chef Jane-Therese Mulry. Each of the six stunning spaces complements the island’s natural beauty for a memorable meal.

The architects involved in the project is ECO.ID who has strong presence in eco friendly and sustainable designing. For instance they have help designed the resort to lend itself to the implementation of various initiatives to minimize our environmental impact and promote a greener future. Powered by renewable energy sources, primarily through the use of solar panels, reducing our reliance on traditional energy sources and lowering our carbon footprint. Villas set back from the shoreline, featuring expansive gardens to minimize noise and light pollution. Great care is also taken to ensure the natural flora of the island are protected and integrated into the landscape of the resort.

The Waldorf Spa will also offer a serene destination for holistic wellbeing, featuring six treatment rooms, a beauty salon, hammam, spa suite and serene outdoor spaces that blend harmoniously to offer guests an unparalleled spa experience.
